Ricky Grant Jr. is a native of Boston Massachusetts. He has over 17 years of experience in program design, curriculum development, teaching, case management, grants management, staff supervision and overall management of supportive programs for underserved communities in Boston. Ricky currently serves in the capacity of Chief of the Bureau of Community Engagement for the Suffolk County Distrcit Attorney's Office. 

Prior to joining the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, Ricky served as Director of Youth Options Unlimited in Boston. YOU is a youth workforce agency serving 16-24 year old proven-risk young adults in career readiness and private job-placement under the Mayor’s office of workforce development. In 2012 Ricky founded and served as Executive Pastor of Rescued Church Boston, a local church in the Dorchester community.  Ricky also directed the “Talent Search” program, a federally funded educational and workforce training program serving first-generation Americans aspiring post-secondary education at Roxbury Community College.

 

Ricky has managed various programs over the years that recruit, train and empower community residents. Ricky also maintains strong relationships with community organizations, educational institutions, faith-based institutions, city agencies, and law enforcement entities to coordinate quality services for young adults and “returning” citizens.

Ricky graduated from Northeastern University, with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership.
